CentaSpike (Obscene Records, Barcode Records) ...theres a corrupt path..... leading down to the swamp...living dead Centaspike follows the stench, his footsteps beating rhythmic dark pulses, sinking down low at the edges, theres blood in the mud and he kneels ...digs his mangled hands inside and slides into the abyss, descending with smile rotted and wild eyes..... in the depths the corpses are alive, evil music thrashing from their arteries..its here he festers, waiting...filthy water seeps into his ears and lungs...............his ideas are restless, restless to spread, dredge, infect, unbind, unleashed on Obscene, Fearing Fear........... |

Dante25 year old dj/producer from canberra australia, mainly into techno, house and minimal sounds. a bit of electro here and there doesn't go astray. but generally if it's got a 4/4 beat i'll have a boogie. i've been doing this for nearly 5 years now and along the way i managed to pick up a support slot for carl cox on his first gig in canberra. not sure where i'll be in a few years but i do know melbourne is on the cards, and i'll be having a great time along the way. |

D'Opus & Roshambo(Mercury Switch Lab)If lyrical currency counts for anything in hip hop, D’Opus & Roshambo have a Million Dollar Bill in their debut album. After two years locked inside their Canberra studio the boys have released The Switch, a record as anticipated as an act of Parliament.
D’Opus (Ross Garrett) has brought a heavy arsenal of artist
collaboration to the album. Before fusing with Roshambo (Rowan Thomson)
in 2004, he’s shared stages with the Jungle Brothers, DJ Q-Bert, Mr.
Thing and De La Soul. As a

Peekz (Trancetribe Recordings, Seductive Audio)2009 Has definitely been a step up for Peekz. Already a local known in the prog/trance scenes for many years, the year began with a big support slot for Australia's #1 voted DJ, TyDi, which drew rave reviews. Following on from there saw Peekz become a regular for Pang! nights of the progressive variety with support slots for acts such as Margan Page (US), Adamk K (CAN), Hook & Sling (SYD) and local heroes Aston Shuffle. Not content with that for a bio line, he then upped the ante with 2 more huge supports in the progressive arena, closing for Anthony Pappa (UK/AUS) and plying not only before, but after the legendary Nick Warren (UK). |

Simon Hunter(Trancetribe Recordings, Create Recordings)Born in the small town of Wagga Wagga, Australia in 1986 Simon Hunter was introduced to music from pioneers such as the Beatles during his early years. With a firm love for music, it seemed fate that Simon would grow up to be so involved in the local and national music scene. But everything changed during Simon’s 13th year of existence, when he was introduced to a Wild FM CD. Fascination and discovery motivated Simon to obtain his first set of turntables and relentlessly practice the art of the DJ, dance music had become his passion. |
